Yesterday I went shopping and only took cash, which worked out very well. Having a limit to stick too meant my savvy self showed up. This had me seeking out the best items for the lowest prices. A challenging aspect had been added to the normally boring process of shopping. I took the challenge and beat it to death with two £6.99 shirts (reduced way down from £50 each), a £20 pair of jeans...

is my mums birthday. Last week she sent us all a text saying that instead of buying her gifts, we give her cash, which I thought was really cheeky, especially as she wouldn’t tell us what she would be getting with the money.
She just told me now that she’s giving it to support Haiti because she already has everything. I teared up a bit!
I hope I can learn to be a bit more like...

When it comes to surfing, Kelly Slater is a freak of nature. The same can be said about Shaun White and snowboarding. This dude is a freak and doesn’t stop pushing the limits. Both the X Games and the Winter Olympics are coming up and hes been practicing a Double McTwist 1260. I can’t wait to see him stick this thing in competition.

Watching it.
Not having a tv was initially an attempt to watch less mind-numbing bullshit. It’s worked in that I’m more selective in what I watch (which I watch online), and I have ZERO tolerance for advertisements.
I started reading more (books) but now that’s changed to reading more (blogs & other). But at least I’m reading more.
In not watching tv I’ve started listening...
